I would rather sleep in the car

Decrepit - the only word that does it justice. This place an old Formula 1 and should have been demolished years ago. Even the shower cubical appeared to be on a slant. Room numbers were on signs laying on floor. My accommodation was booked by my employer, as our usual accomdation was booked out. I saw people having breakfast and asked did my booking include breakfast? The response "the computer is down" I waited for further advice and was confronted with "what do you want?" I said I was waiting to find out if I was having breakfast here " I told you the computer is down" It was only Weetbix & Orange juice surely they could have offered, I am sure the employer had paid for breakfast, they never skimp on this - I went to Macca's putting this down to a bad experience.

Terrible old Rooms

This hotel is terrible, old with a transportable shower and toilet. I’ve seen better in a third world company. Everything was old and rusting . No hair dryer. Couldn’t turn the TV on. The air conditioner came across on the Arch it was that old and taped up to hold it together. Chips out of walls and doors . It was clean to a point. No lifts only stairs. Be aware look at the room first

This is a budget hotel, but I found it value for money. The bed was comfortable and clean, the water for the shower was hot, and the TV worked. I arrived later than expected due to flight delays but the follow up by the Customer Service staff was great, making contact to understand when I would arrive, and helped with giving me directions as I was travelling by train from the airport, then walking from the recommended train station. The Customer Service staff in the morning were also helpful with my requests for a taxi service and a place to go for breakfast. For a budget hotel this was definitely value for money.

Booked in for 1 night due to its location but also the very low price. Located nearby are an assortment of restaurants and fast food outlets. The room itself was basic, with a small TV, very loud air con unit, and a wash basin with mirror etc in the same room as the bed. The bathroom was an all-in-one type plastic cubicle - including shower and toilet. It was very much dated and all a bit weird to be honest. Water pressure was fine, and hot, which was good. Bed was actually quite comfortable. You get what you pay for, and for what it was, it was value and I have to admit I seltp well - but It was probably more due to the fact I had a very busy day! I will probably stay somewhere else next time.
